Amazon Prime Day is honestly one of my favorite shopping days of the year and this time it falls on MY BIRTHDAY! And that made me think, why don’t I share how I do Prime Day?? I’m going to share with you my prep tips, shopping secrets, and ALL of the real-time deals that I find VERY exciting this morning!

TIPS + SECRETS

If you have the Amazon app, you KNOW when prime day is coming. For a couple weeks now, I’ve gotten the “Prime Day is July 11th-12th” reminder as I open the app. As soon as I realize Prime Day is coming, I immediately start putting items from my wish list and shopping list into My Cart and I LEAVE THEM THERE. Any purchase that I can put off for a week or two until Prime Day, I put the item in my cart so that when the day is here, I can check if that item or a similar item is on sale.

So as we approach Prime Day, this might be hard to think about, but I really like to try to prep ahead ideas for essential birthday, baby shower, wedding, and even Christmas presents! The earlier you start brainstorming these events in your life in the upcoming months, the easier it is to think through potential present ideas. You will be THANKING yourself later for getting it all done in one day, so efficiently + so early. Keep all your ideas and gift to-do’s on a list so that you can search for deals the day of!

The trick on Prime Day is to not only check the price of the items in your cart, but to also search for that item and see if any other supplier is listing it or something similar on sale or cheaper.
